AN ODE to HOLLYWOOD

Reboots might be a controversial topic for most of Hollywood, but at Genius Produced, we take them to the next level.
A major impediment in a student’s development is their ability to connect and engage with the material being presented. A number of educators have explored the use of narrative pedagogy, or “story teaching”, to overcome the obstacle and create that personal connection that is often lost in traditional education.  By focusing attention to the human element of the curriculum learners can  explore the content in new ways, searching for meaning within their interpretation of the stories. Course content is delivered with added depth, as an emotional, immersive experience, where students may systematically consider how the actions and responses of a person in this situation can be improved for their future actions and responses.

Our scripted narratives borrow from some of the best films and television shows in order to illustrate the high-level learning objectives in partner University courses. Our homages include "Law & Order", "Fleabag", documentary films, and many others. We bridge the gap between brick-and-mortar and online education by harnessing the power of storytelling and technology.

Genius Produced specializes in utilizing a unique blend of broadcast-quality media and interactivity to stimulate active, and passive learning in one immersive experience.

Take a look at a few examples below:

The legendary workplace comedy "The Office" lends a hand to outlines the "dos and don'ts" of a Supply Chain Management course

Our client's Emergency Management Services courses received a high-stakes boost by using the stylings of the action series "24".

The film "Young Frankenstein" served as a model for a Social Work course, illustrating the importance of proper data collection and reporting for research studies.
